Maya Angelou said that "There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you." So here's mine. I've seen a lot of sun and I've weather a lot of storms. Some times I just want to lay in bed and cry. Sometimes I let it out onto paper with short stories and poetry. Occasionally I'll pick up one of my favorite books full of quotes, read the ones that I can relate to in the moment and find a bit of peace that there is some one out there who can put my feelings into words when I can't do it myself.
It's been quite the roller coaster, so sit down, buckle up and hold on tight.

- I live in a small town outside of Chicago with my three dogs. I love animals and volunteer for a local organization that takes in dogs who were either abandoned or dogs from shelters who are about to be euthanized because they've been in the shelter too long. Needless to say, I am extremely against breeding. I'm fresh out of a break-up with the first man I ever loved and am just trying to find my footing again. It hasn't been easy but I'm finding my way. Through my few friends and my writing I'm working my way through it. It's a slow process, though. In my blogs you will find a bunch of different things...some of my short stories and poetry, some of my favorite quotes and sayings that inspire my and I feel the need to pass on, and often stories(or rants)about my life. It's been quite a roller coaster, so grab a seat and hold on.
